I have the pleasure of interviewing the lovely Nico Lehmann, and today we are going to talk about the topic of his highly qualified publication: “What is the effect of cardiovascular training on our brain structures and functions?”
That’s the question he tried to answer with his publication in the NATURE Publishing Scientific Report. The exact title of his article is: “Priming cardiovascular exercise improves complex motor skill learning by affecting the trajectory of learning-related brain plasticity” (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-022-05145-7).
One thing I always remember is that we both researched and partied at the Max Planck Institute for Neuroscience and Cognition in beautiful Leipzig, with the motto: “Team learning by dying!” 🤣
